How credits and plans work
A credit is a character. Plans grant credits every month; top-ups add more whenever you need them.

Speech is paid for in credits: one credit a character on the standard model, in English or Kiswahili alike. Forced alignment is charged by the second of audio.
- A plan grants its credits at the start of each month of the plan. On paid plans, what's left is kept for one more month.
- A top-up adds credits whenever you need them, and they last for months, plan or no plan.
- Free: test keys, a repeat of a request with the same
seed, and anything that fails.
Credits that expire soonest are spent first, so nothing you paid for runs out while newer credits sit unused. The plans and their prices are on the pricing page.
