A dictionary is a list of rules. An alias rule says a word as something else: Kilele as Kee-leh-leh, CBD as see bee dee. Add the dictionary to a request and every rule applies.

    Make a dictionary

    On Pronunciations, start from scratch or upload a PLS file. Owners and admins can make and change them; everyone can use them.

    Add rules and hear them

    Each rule can be heard in the Playground before you rely on it.

    Use it in requests

    Send pronunciation_dictionary_locators with the dictionary's ID and version, up to three per request.
